It is a time of unprecedented growth at Universal Orlando. Since the opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade in Universal’s Islands of Adventure™ in 2010, Universal Orlando has launched more than 20 new entertainment experiences across its entire destination – and there’s even more on the way
Universal Studios Florida™, which opened in 1990, has evolved into an innovative entertainment experience with a personality all its own. Its cutting-edge attractions—based on pop-culture icons, Hollywood blockbuster films and hit television shows—transport visitors into a highly imaginative world where they can become heroes of their own adventures.
Innovation combines with powerful storytelling and incredible adventure at Universal’s Islands of Adventure™ theme park—home to some of the most thrilling and groundbreaking rides and attractions ever made. Universal’s Islands of Adventure features spectacularly themed islands, all with one-of-a-kind rides, attractions, shows, shops and restaurants, imaginatively themed to each particular island.
Just outside the theme parks is Universal Orlando’s two-tiered entertainment complex, Universal CityWalk™, which offers options for every member of the family. Enjoy unique dining, nightlife, a movie or live entertainment like the internationally acclaimed Blue Man Group show.
Universal Orlando also features five incredible onsite hotels that are truly destinations unto themselves. Loews Portofino Bay Hotel is a re-creation of the famed seaside village of Portofino, Italy. The Hard Rock Hotel showcases the unique style of a Californian mission. Loews Royal Pacific Resort is a tropical paradise inspired by the Golden Age of Travel when adventurous travelers island-hopped through the South Pacific. Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Universal’s newest hotel, is inspired by the picturesque rivers and waterfalls of the Caribbean. Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort transports guests to the iconic beach resorts of the 1950s and 60s with its bold design, period colors and neon, retro-feel.
